Free online FLAC + CUE splitterOne FLAC, one .cue,
every track back.

Pick the FLAC and its cue sheet together. Titles, performers and start times come straight from the cue, to the hundredth of a second, and every track stays lossless.

MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A/AAC or Ogg/Opus up to 450 MB

  1. 01Pick both files

Choose the FLAC and its .cue at the same time, or load the .cue into the paste box after the audio.

  2. 02Check the tracks

Every TRACK becomes a row with its title, performer and INDEX 01 start; the album title, artist, year and genre fill in too.

  3. 03Download

Lossless FLAC tracks with tags and cover art, in one zip or one at a time, plus a fresh .cue for the original.

What people split with it

  • CD rips as one image

An EAC or XLD rip saved as a single FLAC + CUE, back into numbered, tagged tracks.

  • Gapless live albums

Exact cue starts mean no clipped applause or half-second jumps between tracks.

  • Vinyl transfers with a cue

A needle-drop that came with its own .cue, split along the times the uploader set.

Tracklist format

One track per line, with its start time at the start or the end. Minutes:seconds or hours:minutes:seconds, brackets and numbering all work.

PERFORMER "The Example Band"
TITLE "Live at the Hall"
FILE "Live at the Hall.flac" WAVE
  TRACK 01 AUDIO
    TITLE "Opening"
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
  TRACK 02 AUDIO
    TITLE "Second Song"
    INDEX 01 04:12:37

Questions, answered

Does it read the .cue file itself?
Yes. Pick the .cue together with the audio, load it into the paste box, or paste its text. TITLE, PERFORMER, REM DATE, REM GENRE and each track's INDEX 01 are read; the INDEX 00 pregap is skipped, so each track starts where the cue says it starts.
Are the cuts exact?
Cue times are in frames of 1/75 of a second, and the splitter keeps them to the hundredth of a second, so a gapless album splits without clipping the start or end of a track. FLAC tracks are re-encoded losslessly, so the samples are identical to the image.
What about cue sheets that are not UTF-8?
Cue sheets from older rippers are often saved as Windows-1252 or, for Japanese releases, Shift-JIS. Both are detected, along with UTF-8 and UTF-16, so accented and Japanese titles come through intact.
My cue lists more than one audio file. What happens?
One audio file is split at a time. The tracks for the file you uploaded are used, matched by name, and you are told the cue refers to other files too.
Can I split APE or WavPack images?
Not yet: the splitter reads FLAC, WAV, MP3, M4A/AAC and Ogg/Opus. Convert an APE or WavPack image to FLAC first, which is lossless, and keep the same .cue. One file can be up to 450 MB.
